Comments:

FORRESTFIELD driver Ryan Farrell was the best placed WA racer as the World Series Sprintcar Grand Final wrapped up at Perth Motorplex on Friday and Saturday nights.

Farrell finished third in the competition, behind winner Ian Madsen from Sydney.

He finished fourth in the overall World Series Sprintcars point score, which has played out over summer across Australia, concluding at the Kwinana track.

Farrell said the team’s goal was to finish in the top five, so he was pleased with fourth spot.

Upcoming events at Perth Motorplex include the Sprintcar King of Wings on February 18 and 19, and drag racing Westernationals on February 27 and 28.
