DENNIS Cometti has come on board as West Perth Football Club’s No. 1 ticket holder at Arena Joondalup this season.

The well-respected sports commentator and former Falcons player and coach was approached by president Brett Raponi and will be in the role for two years.

“Dennis is highly respected across the country, not only for his astute commentary but also his reasoned debate on sport and his sense of humour,” he said.

West Perth chief executive Gerry O’Dea said Cometti was “a great fit for the Falcons; in fact, it’s centimetre-perfect”.

The broadcaster will help kick off the Falcons season next Saturday at Arena Joondalup when they host Swan Districts.
