A FACILITY in Canning Vale is offering a different experience for fans of birdies and eagles.
Par 3 Indoor Golf offers avid golfers and beginners to the sport a chance to play nine or 18 holes indoors.
There is also an option to refine driving and putting techniques.
Director Justine Mamootil said the facility offered more people a chance to swing into the sport, or play on the world’s top greens.
“We have 18 PGA-rated courses, such as Pebble Beach and Spyglass, various driving ranges, chipping and putting practice ranges and games such as break the castle windows and field goal challenge,” she said.
“We aspire to be the place that golfers can call home and to become the alternative place where golfers go to perfect their swing.”
The centre opened four months ago, with 3-D graphics taking golfers onto the course.
“Our simulators help golfers perfect their swing and enhance their learning experience through the use of modern sensor technology and swing analytics,” Ms Mamootil said.
The science behind sport is also on show at the centre, with Winthrop Baptist College students recently learning about scientific theories through the swing analysis technology.
“Students can look at the impact of club swing and ball creating different trajectory shots, and the working biomechanics of your swing,” Ms Mamootil said.
“Students can also learn the basics of golf – stance, grip, posture, alignment, swing technique, course rules and golfer etiquette.”
